I grew up and was educated in the industrial county of Flintshire in North Wales. If you mention Flintshire to most people from anywhere 10 miles the other side of Chester, they might tell you it is the home of Airbus, but they probably won’t be able to tell you much else. After all it’s not London, but it is a magical and fantastical place I live in, with a wealth of stories waiting to be told.
